ECP Issues Notices to 446 Parliamentarians to Submit Financial Statements

Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a final notice to four hundred and forty-six members of Parliament and Provincial Assemblies to submit their annual financial statements by 15th of this month.

According to Radio Pakistan, the notices have been served to 26 Senators, 125 members of the National Assembly, 159 members of the Punjab Assembly, 62 members of the Sindh Assembly, 48 members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, and 26 members of the Balochistan Assembly.

The Election Commission has warned that in case of non-compliance by the deadline, membership will be suspended under the Elections Act, 2017.
