Efforts for Exploration of Oil Accelerated Under SIFC

Islamabad: The efforts for the timely exploration of oil have been accelerated under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan has a capacity of 1,234 million barrels of oil reserves, while 249.05 million barrels are still available.

Timely oil exploration is anticipated to secure economic importance for the country and reduce its external dependence. The initiative is expected to usher in a new era of energy self-sufficiency for Pakistan through local production.

Furthermore, the US-Pakistan oil partnership is projected to guarantee a robust economy and a promising future. Additionally, the agreement with Turkiye regarding forty offshore blocks is expected to be a game-changer for the country’s energy security.
