Dr. Ihab Abdelhamid Hassan, the Ambassador of Egypt, met with Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Pakistan’s Minister for Defence, Defence Production, and Aviation. The meeting highlighted the strong, historical ties and mutual trust between the two nations, with discussions on increasing cooperation in defense and other fields.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Asif emphasized the importance of Egypt’s role in the Middle East and its critical impact on regional peace and prosperity. He reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of Israeli actions in Gaza and expressed solidarity with Palestine. The discussions also touched upon the potential for expanding relations between Egypt and Pakistan, particularly in defense production.
