Eight Khawarij, Killed in North Waziristan, Identified

Islamabad: Eight Khawarij, who were killed while attempting to infiltrate into North Waziristan on Wednesday, have been identified.

According to Radio Pakistan, two of those killed in the operation conducted by security forces were Afghan nationals. The identities of these individuals have drawn attention to ongoing security concerns in the region.

Defence experts suggest that this incident exposes the false claims of the Afghan Taliban regime that it does not patronize terrorism in Pakistan. They argue that the Afghan Taliban are using peace negotiations as a cover to gain relief and time from Pakistan while pursuing their commercial interests.
