Entire Nation Stands Shoulder to Shoulder with Armed Forces: PM

Rawalpindi: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against the nexus between Fitna al-Khawarij (FAK) and the Afghan Taliban regime, as well as their subversive activities. He gave these directions while receiving a briefing from the military leadership during his visit to the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed that actions by the Afghan Taliban regime and Fitna al-Khawarij against Pakistan are unacceptable. He affirmed that the Armed Forces of Pakistan, under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, are always prepared to safeguard the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s ability to defend itself against any aggression. He also praised the professional capabilities of the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their effective response to attacks in border areas by the Afghan Taliban regime.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the entire nation stands united with its Armed Forces in the defense of the homeland.
