Envoy Nizamani Briefs Acting President Gilani on Regional Security

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani, called on Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in Islamabad today. He briefed the Acting President on the regional security situation, particularly issues affecting Pakistan’s peace and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, besides the meeting with Envoy Nizamani, other significant figures also met with the Acting President. These included Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan, World Chairman and Ambassador-at-Large of the International Human Rights Commission, PPP Multan President Malik Naseem Labar, Chairman of the National Insurance Company Limited Ali Syed, and Chairman of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter. Each meeting focused on various concerns and developments pertinent to their respective fields.
