EU High Representative Praises Pakistan’s Role in Islamabad MOU

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a conversation with European Union High Representative/Vice President Kaja Kallas, focusing on the evolving regional dynamics.

According to Radio Pakistan, Kaja Kallas expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s role in the successful signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). During the discussion, she also voiced serious concerns over recent ceasefire violations, emphasizing the importance of maintaining open communication channels to address these issues effectively.

Ishaq Dar, on his part, informed the EU High Representative about Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic endeavors aimed at establishing a comprehensive framework for peace and stability in the Middle East. He highlighted the need for all parties involved to adhere strictly to the ceasefire agreement to ensure regional stability.

Both leaders concurred on the importance of maintaining close contact to navigate the complexities of the situation and to work collaboratively towards sustainable peace in the region.
