Karachi: Exchange rates for major currencies experienced slight increases, The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported changes in the buying and selling rates of several currencies.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the United States dollar saw an increase from a buying rate of 277.60 to 277.93 and a selling rate from 279.60 to 279.70. The euro’s buying rate moved from 286.99 to 287.75, while the selling rate increased from 289.55 to 290.36. The British pound’s buying rate rose from 347.22 to 347.78, with the selling rate increasing from 350.18 to 350.98. The Japanese yen remained stable with buying and selling rates unchanged at 1.75 and 1.80, respectively. The UAE dirham buying rate increased from 75.53 to 75.63, while the Saudi riyal buying rate moved from 73.83 to 73.95.
Interbank rates also reflected minor changes, with the dollar’s buying rate at 278.55 moving slightly to 278.64, and the selling rate shifting from 278.75 to 278.84. These changes in exchange rates are indicative of ongoing currency fluctuations observed in the market.
