Exchange Rates Show Slight Variations in Foreign Currency Market

KARACHI: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan has released new figures indicating minor fluctuations in the interbank and open market exchange rates for a range of foreign currencies.

According to the latest data, the US dollar is being traded at a buying rate of 281.15 and a selling rate of 281.56 in the open market. In the interbank market, the dollar stands at 280.50 for buying and 280.70 for selling.

The euro shows a buying rate of 325.63 and a selling rate of 328.74. Meanwhile, the British pound is listed at 371.29 for purchasing and 374.67 for selling.

The Japanese yen, a less frequently traded currency, is being bought at 1.79 and sold at 1.84. The United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi riyal are exchanged at rates of 76.61 and 74.90 for buying, and 77.36 and 75.52 for selling, respectively.

These rates are subject to change as the market adjusts to global economic conditions. The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan provides these rates to assist businesses and individuals in making informed financial decisions.
