Expansion of Data Darbar to Facilitate Thousands of Pilgrims: DPM

Lahore: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and PML-N President and former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri RA, known as Data Darbar, in Lahore today. The visit included laying floral wreaths and offering fateha. Both leaders also prayed for the peace, security, prosperity, and stability of the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the significance of the expansion and development of Data Darbar, describing it as an important and historic project. The project aims to provide enhanced facilities to the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who visit the shrine. He noted that such initiatives align with the government’s vision of preserving religious heritage while offering improved public services.

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, in his remarks, highlighted that the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) serves as a center of spiritual peace, tolerance, and harmony. He mentioned that millions of pilgrims visit Data Darbar annually from across the country and abroad. Nawaz Sharif reiterated the government’s commitment to providing modern facilities to pilgrims while maintaining the religious and cultural significance of the shrine.
