Export-Led Economy Key to National Development: Nazir Hussain

Lahore: President Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nazir Hussain has emphasized that an export-led economy is the only sustainable route to national development. During an interview with Radio Pakistan’s correspondent Qasim Bukhari, Hussain highlighted the importance of aligning product quality, packaging, and labor standards with international benchmarks to significantly enhance Pakistan’s exports.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hussain noted that China is providing full support to Pakistan in boosting its exports. He underscored the necessity of identifying products that are in demand in Chinese markets, particularly focusing on food items, to strengthen economic ties and increase export volumes.
