Export of Sports Goods to China Sees Significant Growth

ISLAMABAD: The export of sports goods from Pakistan to China has experienced a significant boost, rising by 6.68 percent, with $10.7 million worth of goods exported last year. This growth highlights the increasing demand for Pakistani sports products in the Chinese market.

According to Radio Pakistan, the rise in exports can be attributed to the global recognition of Pakistan’s sports industry, supported by governmental initiatives and the Special Investment Facilitation Council. The popularity of Pakistani-made basketballs and volleyballs in Chinese schools and professional leagues underscores the quality and appeal of these products.

China’s confidence in Pakistani sports goods is evident as the nation prepares for major sporting events, choosing to rely on Pakistan’s quality. The collaboration between the two countries is further strengthened by China’s advanced technology and extensive trade network, which have brought significant advancements to Pakistan’s sports industry.

China remains a crucial market for Pakistan’s sports goods, offering new opportunities for growth and expansion. The mutually beneficial relationship continues to enhance the sports industries of both countries, paving the way for further developments in the sector.
