Exports of Pakistani Dates Can Strengthen Economy: Governor Punjab

Islamabad: Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan attended the Date Festival in Lahore today and visited various stalls showcasing different varieties of dates grown in Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, he said Pakistan is one of the world’s leading producers of dates and is home to a wide variety of high-quality dates.

According to Radio Pakistan, he said exports of Pakistani dates have the potential to attract greater investment and strengthen the national economy. He urged overseas Pakistanis to give preference to Pakistani products and help promote them in international markets. The Governor said Pakistani dates meet international standards and stressed the need for high-quality packaging to boost their exports.
