Extreme Heat and Dusty Winds Forecasted for Balochistan Districts

Quetta: Residents of Balochistan should brace for continued hot and dry conditions along with dusty winds across several districts, as forecasted by the Regional Meteorological Center of Balochistan. The coming days are expected to maintain this pattern with no significant change in weather conditions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the weather across most districts of Balochistan will remain predominantly hot and dry on Tuesday. Specific areas such as Washik, Chagai, and Kech districts are anticipated to experience dusty winds. This trend is predicted to persist into Wednesday, with very dry conditions expected in the Rukhshan Division, accompanied by similar dusty winds.

The report also highlighted recent temperature readings, noting that the highest temperature recorded in Sabi over the last 24 hours reached a sweltering 42 degrees Celsius. This high temperature underscores the intense heatwave affecting the region, which is expected to continue affecting the daily lives of its residents.

Local authorities might consider issuing further advisories to help residents cope with the challenging weather conditions. Meanwhile, individuals are advised to stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun, particularly during peak heat hours.
