Farooq Abdullah Vows Restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah declared that Article 370, once rescinded, will be reinstated as it represents the core sentiments of the residents of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a media interaction in Shopian, Abdullah was addressing remarks made by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah had stated that Article 370, which was abolished on August 5, 2019, would not be reinstated. In response, Abdullah emphasized the deep connection between the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Articles 370 and 35A, expressing confidence in their eventual restoration.
