Srinagar: A tragic road accident in the Mattan area of Islamabad within Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the death of one man and injuries to another on Sunday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official reported that the incident occurred at Iqbalabad in Mattan, where a vehicle collided with two non-local laborers. The impact of the crash caused severe injuries to both individuals.
The official detailed that one of the laborers, Bhuneshwar Bhulyan from Jharkhand, succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. The second laborer, Mohd Syed Ansari, also from Jharkhand, was urgently transported to Govt Medical College, Islamabad, for specialized treatment.
Local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
