FBR directs field offices to expedite operation against tax evasion

Federal Board of Revenue has issued directions to all its Field offices to expedite operation against tax evasion and play active role in stopping the menace of fake and flying invoices.

A statement issued by FBR on Saturday said any person found involved in fake and flying invoices and causing tax evasion would be dealt strictly in accordance with law.

The statement said FBR will also take prompt action against its own employee if they are found involved in crime.

FBR has encouraged people to come forward and identity the people involved in causing tax evasion by using fake and flying invoices.

It said the names of whistle blowers will be kept secret and they will also be granted reward.
