FBR Extends Income Tax Return Filing Deadline to October 15

Islamabad: Federal Board of Revenue has extended the deadline for filing of Income Tax Returns till fifteenth of this month. The decision has been made under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.

According to Radio Pakistan, the extension in the deadline has been granted in response to requests made by various trade bodies, tax bar associations, and the general public. This move aims to provide additional time for taxpayers to fulfill their obligations.
