Federal Government Committed to Gilgit-Baltistan’s Development: PM.

Gilgit: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized that the federal government is actively pursuing initiatives focused on the development and welfare of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. During separate meetings with Governor Syed Mehdi Shah and Chief Minister Gulbar Khan in Gilgit, the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to accelerating development projects in the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Governor and Chief Minister expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Sharif for the recent economic stability observed in the country. They acknowledged the federal government’s efforts in steering the country towards economic recovery and conveyed their appreciation for the Prime Minister’s leadership.

In addition to his meetings, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute at Yadgar-e-Shuhada, located at the Chief Minister Secretariat in Gilgit, by laying a floral wreath. This gesture was part of his visit to honor the sacrifices made by the region’s martyrs.
