Federal govt allocates Rs19bn for Chashma Lift Canal project: Kundi

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi says the government is devising a strategy to initiate practical work on Chashma Lift Canal project.

Talking to the General Manager WAPDA North in Peshawar today, he said a special directorate has been established for Chashma Lift Canal.

Faisal Karim Kundi said federal government allocated nineteen billion rupees for the Chashma Lift Canal project which will bring agricultural revolution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Governor termed the project imperative for food security and creation of job opportunities for the public.
