Federal Minister Engages Energy Stakeholders at PSO House

Karachi: Federal Minister for Petroleum, Mr. Ali Pervaiz Malik, visited Pakistan State Oil (PSO) House to engage with key stakeholders in the energy sector. During the visit, Mr. Malik held high-level meetings aimed at strengthening coordination and ensuring operational excellence across the sector.

Mr. Malik, accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Energy, was received by PSO’s leadership, including Mr. Abdus Sami and Mr. Mohsin Ali Mangi. The Minister also met with Mr. Asif Baigmohamed, Chairman of the PSO Board of Management, to discuss PSO’s business interests.

The focus of the discussions was on PSO’s performance, supply chain resilience, and automation initiatives. Mr. Malik commended PSO for its essential role in maintaining a consistent fuel supply across Pakistan and its efforts to modernize infrastructure and diversify into renewable energy.

Mr. Malik assured PSO of government support while emphasizing the commitment to ensuring reliable and economical energy availability for consumers. He also engaged with the Oil Companies Advisory Committee and addressed industry-wide challenges and regulatory developments.

In a separate session, the Minister met with the Petroleum Dealers Association to discuss operational challenges. Mr. Malik assured dealers that their concerns would be addressed through dialogue.

The visit underscored the government’s dedication to fostering a collaborative and innovative energy sector, aligning with goals of sustainability and economic stability.
