Field Marshal and Iranian Interior Minister Engage in Key Security Discussions

Islamabad: Interior Minister of Iran Eskandar Momeni called on Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi. During this significant meeting, both leaders engaged in discussions on mutual interests, focusing on regional and bilateral security, as well as effective border management strategies.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Iranian dignitary expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s ongoing efforts and critical diplomatic role in easing regional tensions. He acknowledged Pakistan’s dedication to encouraging de-escalation and its contributions as a stabilizing force for peace in the region.

The meeting concluded with a mutual reaffirmation to maintain close coordination and cooperative mechanisms to ensure regional security and mutual prosperity.
