Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Concludes Strategic Visit to Iran

Tehran: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, has concluded a three-day official visit to Iran. The visit was marked by high-level discussions aimed at fostering regional peace and cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Field Marshal met with several key Iranian leaders, including President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, Speaker of the National Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and Major General Ali Abdollahi, Commander of Khatam ul Anbiya Headquarters. The meetings centered on strategies to ensure sustainable peace in the region, focusing on regional security dynamics, diplomatic efforts, and initiatives to promote long-term stability.

The Field Marshal emphasized the importance of dialogue, de-escalation, and resolving issues peacefully through ongoing diplomatic engagements. He conveyed warm regards and best wishes from Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, and its people to the Iranian leadership, highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its historical and fraternal relations with Iran.
