Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Visits General Staff Headquarters in Iran

Tehran: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, visited the General Staff Headquarters in Tehran, Iran. During his visit, he held a meeting with Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the two military leaders focused on the evolving regional security landscape. They emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral defense ties and explored key areas of mutual interest. These included enhancing military-to-military cooperation, improving security mechanisms along the shared border, and exploring opportunities to transform the border regions into zones of trade and economic connectivity. Such initiatives aim to contribute to regional stability and prosperity.

Upon his arrival, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was given a warm welcome, which included a ceremonial guard of honor presented by a contingent of the Iranian Armed Forces.
