Final Notice for Newly Promoted Assistant Professors on E-Portal Submission Deadline

Lahore: The Higher Education Department of the Punjab Government has issued a final reminder to all newly promoted Assistant Professors (BS-18) regarding the submission of their promotion-related applications. The department emphasized the importance of adhering to the recently extended deadline for utilizing the newly launched E-Portal.

According to Higher Education Department – Government of Punjab, the original deadline of September 4, 2024, was extended twice due to administrative reasons, with the new and final deadline set for September 8, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The E-Portal, which was introduced following the approval of the Transfer Policy 2024 by the Provincial Cabinet, is designed to streamline the application process for academic promotions.

The department has clearly stated that there will be no further extensions beyond this date. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted, and faculty members who fail to comply will be assigned positions based on the departmental needs as stipulated in the Transfer Policy 2024.
