Final Text of Peace Deal Agreed, Next Steps Being Finalized: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that a final, agreed upon text of the peace deal has been reached and Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to finalize the next steps.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister conveyed this development via a post on the social media platform X. He emphasized Pakistan’s ongoing intense mediation efforts and acknowledged the challenges posed by an incessant misinformation campaign aimed at sabotaging the peace deal.

The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of this moment by stating that peace has never been this close as it is now, signaling a hopeful advancement in the peace process.
