Finance Minister Aurangzeb Invites US Investment in Pakistan’s Key Economic Sectors

Washington DC: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with Amy Holman, Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs at the US Department of State, to discuss strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and the United States. Aurangzeb acknowledged the critical role of the Pak-US partnership in advancing Pakistan’s socio-economic development and expressed appreciation for the ongoing support from the United States.

According to Press Information Department, the Finance Minister emphasized investment opportunities in Pakistan’s agriculture, information technology, energy, and mining sectors, extending an invitation for US enterprises to explore these areas. Aurangzeb noted the sectors’ potential to attract substantial foreign investment, contributing to economic growth and development in Pakistan.
