Finance Minister Chairs Special ECC Meeting on Policy Implementation

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, presided over a special meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet at the Finance Division. The meeting focused on reviewing the status of previously made policy decisions concerning key sectors such as finance, industries, power, and national health services.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting included participation from Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, and other key officials from various ministries. Attendees were briefed on the implementation status of earlier ECC decisions. The committee expressed concern over delays in executing these decisions and urged relevant ministries to enhance coordination and ensure timely compliance with ECC directives.
