Finance Minister Discusses Infrastructure Investment with APM Terminals CEO.

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Mr. Keith Svendsen, CEO of APM Terminals, at the Finance Division. The meeting included key figures such as H.E. Jakob Linulf, Ambassador of Denmark to Pakistan, Ambassador Shoaib Sarwar, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Denmark, Mr. Rene Piil Pedersen, Managing Director A.P. Moller Maersk Singapore, Mr. Ahmed Hassan, SVP of A.P. Moller Maersk Group, and Mr. Sander Riemersma, Head of Portfolio Strategy APM Terminals. The main focus of the discussion was on the progress following the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Pakistan and Denmark aimed at fostering bilateral cooperation and promoting green and sustainable Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investment.

According to Press Information Department, the Finance Minister expressed appreciation for APM Terminals’ commitment to invest in Pakistan. He assured the company of full support in providing an investment-friendly environment. Mr. Keith Svendsen shared insights into APM Terminals’ business strategies and their plans to develop port infrastructure in Pakistan, aiming to boost revenue growth and enhance regional trade and connectivity.
