Finance Minister Pledges Commitment to IMF Program Completion

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the successful completion of the thirty-seven-month International Monetary Fund (IMF) program.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the minister emphasized the program as a crucial macro-economic reform initiative during a meeting with Mahir Binici, the new IMF Resident Representative for Pakistan.

Aurangzeb formally welcomed Binici to his role and assured him of full support in fulfilling his responsibilities and maintaining seamless consultations with the Pakistani government. Binici, in response, expressed his commitment to collaborating closely with Pakistan to ensure the program’s successful completion.
