Finance Minister Vows Export-Led Economic Growth.

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has reiterated the government’s resolve to move the economy onto the path of sustained and export-led growth. Talking to Ambassador of Netherlands Henny de Vries in Islamabad today, he highlighted the government’s economic plan and reform agenda for promoting economic growth and ensuring fiscal sustainability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister also discussed the challenges faced by Pakistan on the climate front, emphasizing efforts for climate financing and building capacity to ensure climate resiliency through sustainable solutions. He underscored the importance of integrating climate considerations into economic planning to address these challenges effectively.

The Ambassador of Netherlands appreciated the ongoing structural reforms in major economic and financial sectors in Pakistan. She assured her country’s support for Pakistan’s trade and commerce with the European Union, indicating a commitment to strengthening bilateral economic ties.
