Fire Damages 18 Structures in Srinagar’s Rainawari Area

Srinagar: At least eighteen structures were damaged after a fire erupted in the Rainawari area of Srinagar district in the region of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire started in one house and quickly spread to nearby structures in Abhi Gurpora Rainawari. The incident occurred in the afternoon, affecting several properties but resulting in no loss of life or injuries. Despite the absence of casualties, the blaze destroyed possessions within the affected houses and structures.

Upon being alerted about the fire, local residents and police personnel promptly began efforts to extinguish the flames. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at the time of reporting. Authorities have registered a case and initiated investigations to ascertain the origins of the incident.
