Fire Destroys Four Houses in Doda’s Bhatyas

Jammu: A fire tore through the residential area of Bhatyas in the Doda district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, destroying four houses in the early hours.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the affected houses belonged to Abdul Latief, Mohammad Asgar, Mohammad Yaqoob, and Bashrat Hussain, all residents of Bhatyas. There were no reported casualties or injuries, but the fire destroyed belongings in the houses.

Locals and police responded quickly to the incident, attempting to extinguish the fire. Despite their efforts, significant damage had already occurred. Police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire.

Meanwhile, a separate fire incident in the Kralhar area of Baramulla severely damaged a residential house. The fire also affected the roof of a nearby health center, compounding the losses.
