Fire Erupts in Srinagar’s Rajouri Kadal, Injuring Two Firefighters

Srinagar: A fire erupted in a residential-cum-commercial building in the Rajouri Kadal area of Srinagar, injuring two firefighters during the operation to control the blaze late in the evening.

According to Kashmir Media Service, officials stated that the Fire and Emergency Services teams promptly arrived to tackle the fire. During their efforts, two firefighters were injured and subsequently transported to SMHS Hospital for treatment.

The firefighting operation is ongoing, with authorities striving to prevent further spread of the fire. Earlier, another fire incident occurred in Nawakadal, where a room on the first floor of a three-story residential house ignited.

The causes of both fire incidents remain under investigation.
