ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly convened at the Parliament House in Islamabad with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq presiding over the session. During the proceedings, five legislative proposals were introduced for consideration.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the bills presented included the Zakat and Ushr Amendment Bill, 2025, and the Islamabad Capital Territory Dowry Restraint Bill. Additionally, the Islamabad Animal Protection Bill, the National Commission on the Rights of Child Amendment Bill, and the Capital Development Authority Amendment Bill were laid before the House.
The session concluded with an announcement that the Assembly will reconvene tomorrow at 2 p.m.
