Floating Jetty Construction Underway at Korangi Fisheries Harbour

Islamabad: Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, announced the commencement of construction work on an environmentally efficient floating jetty at the Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority, aimed at enhancing the offloading process of export-quality fish catches. The announcement was made during a meeting of the KoFHA board held in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister detailed that the project is set to be completed by the end of June this year, with a budget allocation of one hundred and twenty million rupees. Junaid Chaudhry elaborated that this initiative is expected to provide safer and more reliable access to the water, in addition to facilitating the smooth landing and unloading of fish catch at the harbour.
