Flow of Water in Rivers Normal Across Punjab: PDMA

Lahore: Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab says flow of water in the rivers is normal across the province. In a statement, Director General PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said water levels in the flood-affected areas are also receding significantly.

According to Radio Pakistan, Kathia informed that in the Sutlej River medium to low flood conditions persist, while, there is no water flow in the hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan Division. Meanwhile, the authority in its latest report said one hundred and thirty-four people have died due to the floods across the province.

The report further mentioned that over four point seven million people have been affected by the flooding. The authority also announced that a survey to assess damages will begin tomorrow.
