Flower Wreath Laying Ceremony Commemorates Sacrifices at Martyrs’ Monument GHQ

Rawalpindi: On the occasion of Defence and Martyrs Day, a ceremony was held at the Martyrs’ Monument at General Headquarters (GHQ). The Chief of General Staff laid a wreath at the monument and offered Fateha.

According to Radio Pakistan, similar ceremonies took place in Lahore and Gujranwala to honor the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. In Lahore, the Corps Commander visited the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and laid a floral wreath at the monument. Meanwhile, in Gujranwala Garrison, the General Officer Commanding performed a wreath-laying ceremony at the Martyrs’ Monument and offered Fateha.

A heartfelt tribute was paid to the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs on this occasion.
