Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said founding Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is perfectly healthy. Clarifying the reports about the health condition of PTI founder, he said the eye specialists had examined PTI founder inside Adiala Jail, after which they recommended that he needs to be taken for a minor medical procedure at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister said on recommendation of the same eye specialists, the founder of PTI was taken to PIMS last Saturday night, where his eyes were further examined. Attaullah Tarar said after written consent of PTI founder, twenty minutes medical procedure was performed and later he was taken back to Adiala Jail under necessary directives.
The Minister said during the medical procedure, his vitals and everything were stable and he is absolutely healthy. Attaullah Tarar said whenever any prisoner feels some health issues, he is given access to the doctors and it is completely in accordance with the rules.
