Free Eye Camp Launched in Sahabatpur with OGDCL and Al Shifa Eye Trust Collaboration

Naseerabad: In a collaborative effort spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Sahabatpur Farida Tareen, a free eye camp has been organized to provide essential eye care services to the residents of Sahabatpur. The three-day event, hosted by the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), commenced with an inauguration ceremony and will run from October 30 to November 1 at the District Headquarters Hospital.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the camp will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring a team of specialist surgeons from Al Shifa Eye Trust. The initiative aims to address various eye diseases and includes surgical operations when necessary. Additionally, goggles will be distributed to patients requiring them. During the inauguration, Deputy Commissioner Farida Tareen emphasized the district administration’s commitment to public welfare and encouraged residents to take advantage of the camp, particularly those from remote areas.
