Lahore: The Chairman of Pakistan Ulama Council, Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, has emphasized that establishing a free and sovereign Palestine is crucial for resolving peace-related issues in the Middle East. He made these remarks while addressing a news conference in Lahore.
According to Radio Pakistan, Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi referred to recent statements from the US and Israel concerning the deprivation of Palestinian land in Gaza. He asserted that the Muslim Ummah would stand against any such attempts.
He also called on the international community to contribute to the rebuilding efforts in Gaza, urging the Ummah to participate actively in this process.
