Funeral for Martyred Punjab Police Constable Held in Rawalpindi

Islamabad: The funeral prayers for Punjab Police Constable Muhammad Mubashir Bilal were held at Rawalpindi Police Lines after he was martyred during violence by protesters in Hakla. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and other high-ranking officials attended the ceremony to honor the constable’s sacrifice.

According to Press Information Department, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to Constable Muhammad Mubashir Bilal’s sacrifice and prayed for his elevated status in the afterlife. A police contingent presented a guard of honor, and floral wreaths were laid by Minister Naqvi, the Corps Commander of Rawalpindi, and the Inspector General of Punjab Police. Naqvi emphasized the nation’s respect for the constable, acknowledging his bravery and dedication to duty.

The event was attended by a significant number of senior officials, including the Corps Commander of Rawalpindi, the Inspector General of Punjab Police, and other law enforcement officers, reaffirming the collective acknowledgment of the constable’s ultimate sacrifice in service.
