Gilgit: Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Yaar Muhammad has directed the Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority to formulate a comprehensive strategy for timely rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of people affected by natural disasters. He was attending a briefing given by the Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority in Gilgit today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Caretaker Chief Minister emphasized the necessity of having heavy machinery available in all districts to ensure that relief operations can be initiated immediately in the event of any natural calamity.
