GB Governor Urges Scholars to Promote Unity, Harmony

Skardu: Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah has emphasized that maintaining a peaceful environment remains the top priority for the government. During a meeting with the President of Anjuman-e-Imamia Baltistan, Agha Baqir Hussain Alhusaini, in Skardu today, he called upon everyone to contribute towards fostering harmony, tolerance, and brotherhood in society.

According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Mehdi Shah specifically appealed to scholars from all schools of thought to collaborate in efforts to sustain peace and harmony across the region. By working together, he believes that the community can overcome divisive tendencies and promote a united front for the prosperity and stability of Gilgit-Baltistan.
