GB Govt, NRTC Sign Agreement to Establish Safe City Project in Gilgit.

Gilgit: The Gilgit-Baltistan government and the National Radio and Telecommunication Company (NRTC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Safe City Project in Gilgit city. The signing ceremony took place in Gilgit, marking a significant development aimed at enhancing the security infrastructure of the city.

According to Radio Pakistan, Secretary Home Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Ali Asghar and General Manager NRTC Muhammad Asif were the signatories of the MoU. The agreement outlines the installation of surveillance cameras and the deployment of modern equipment in Gilgit city. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in maintaining law and order in the region.
