GB Govt Releases Over Rs93m for Flood Victims

Islamabad: Gilgit-Baltistan Home Minister, Shams-ul-Haq Lone, reported that thirty-five deaths have occurred in rain and flood-related incidents. Addressing a news conference in Gilgit on Saturday, he further stated that another thirty-five individuals have been injured, and four people remain missing.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shams-ul-Haq Lone revealed that three hundred and eighteen houses were completely destroyed, while six hundred and seventy-four houses were partially damaged. In response to the devastation, the Gilgit-Baltistan government has released over ninety-three million rupees to assist the victims.
