GB’s Apex Committee Reaffirms Commitment to Maintain Law & Order Situation

Islamabad: The Apex Committee Gilgit-Baltistan has reaffirmed its commitment for the restoration of law and order situation in the area. It was decided in a meeting with the chair of Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan in Gilgit today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting strongly condemned the attacks on Maulana Qazi Nisar Ahmed and Justice Malik Inayat-ur-Rehman in Gilgit, vowing that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. On this occasion, Force Commander Northern Areas Major General Imtiaz Husain Gilani assured that the security forces are ready at all times to protect the people.

The meeting expressed its determination that no one will be allowed to disturb law and order in Gilgit-Baltistan and all those involved in these incidents will be brought to justice soon.
