Gender Equality in Scientific Research Drives Economic Development: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the critical role of gender equality in scientific research and technological advancement for economic development and societal well-being. According to Radio Pakistan, in his message on the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged the significant contributions made by women and girls in the realms of scientific discovery, innovation, and leadership. He stressed that these contributions have been instrumental in shaping the modern world.

Shehbaz Sharif outlined the government’s commitment to enhancing opportunities for women in science and technology. He noted that Pakistan has prioritized programs focusing on skill development, support for women-led start-ups, and increased access to research funding and initiatives.
