Karachi: Ghandhara Automobiles Ltd. (GAL) announced a notable increase in profit during its recent analyst briefing, attributed to strong sales performance in the fiscal year 2025. The company reported a topline of PKR 34.5 billion, a substantial rise from PKR 9.4 billion in the previous year, driven by the successful incorporation of JAC-T9 Hunter sales and a surge in JAC pickup sales.
The company’s profit for FY25 reached PKR 4.1 billion, a significant jump from PKR 365 million in FY24. This increase was supported by higher volumetric sales and improved margins, resulting in an earnings per share (EPS) of PKR 71.9, compared to PKR 6.4 the previous year.
Industry-wide, commercial vehicle sales also witnessed growth, with a total of 6,682 units sold in FY25, doubling the 3,257 units sold in FY24. Ghandhara Automobiles contributed significantly to this trend, with its commercial vehicle sales rising to 2,436 units, a 97% increase from 1,234 units in the same period last year.
The company’s strong performance underscores its strategic positioning in the commercial vehicle sector, bolstered by its new product offerings and sales expansion.
