Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant rise, reflecting a parallel increase in international markets. The cost of gold per tola of 24 karat reached Rs. 309,500, marking an increase of Rs. 1,500 from previous rates.
According to a statement by All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold climbed to Rs. 265,346, up by Rs. 1,286. Similarly, 10 grams of 22 karat gold saw an augmentation, with prices now at Rs. 243,242, an increase of Rs. 1,179.
The international market also witnessed a rise, with gold prices reaching $2,948, an increment of $12. Silver prices followed the trend, with a tola of 24 karat silver now priced at Rs. 3,395, an increase of Rs. 15, while 10 grams of silver are at Rs. 2,910, following a Rs. 13 hike. Internationally, silver prices rose to $32.60, up by $0.16.
This adjustment in gold and silver prices comes amid fluctuating market conditions and continues to affect local rates, providing a crucial indicator for investors and market analysts.
